  1. You have discussed this opening accurately on the whole apart from when you comment that the film is very old. It is old but from the modern era since the invention of colour and therefore the choice of B&W is deliberate. Your analysis of the character of the speaker drawn from his musings is accurate and well developed.

    A word which might help with the overall analysis is bricolage which implies that something is constructed from a broad range of visuals, sounds and other elements which together construct the meaning.
